RELINEEUROPE and ISOCOS both donating to the Sterntaler e.V. children's hospice
Proceeds from the Christmas raffle is again going to Dudenhofen
Since their foundation, the RELINEEUROPE and ISOCOS group have been donating profits from their traditional Christmas raffle - using goods donated by business partners and tickets bought by employees- to the Sterntaler Children's hospice. Together with some direct contributions, this amounted to 4,200 euros in total. A respectable sum which the Children's hospice is in urgent need of.
The Sterntaler Children's hospice provides assistance to terminally ill children and their families. From the time a child is diagnosed with a terminal disease, Sterntaler accompanies the families along what can be a long and difficult road. It offers both in-patient and out-patient support in the form of medical and nursing assistance for the child. Since 2009, the Dudenhofen association has been running the only in-patient children's hospice in Rheinland-Palatinate. Its premises - a former mill and an extension which has just been completed - offer maximum room for a total of 12 children with their families.
As well as caring for and nursing the children, its focus is also on attending and providing psychological care to the whole family, in particular the brothers and sisters of the child. Such a situation is often associated with extreme stress.
Up to now, there has been no state support for children's hospices in Germany and health insurance funds only a pay a part of the daily expenses for the terminally ill child. This does not cover the costs for the child and almost certainly not the food and accommodation and therapy for parents and any siblings.
Constructional work such as the extension in this case must be funded entirely by donations. The money from the RELINEEUROPE and ISOCOS company group is thus more than a good investment. Anette Schrade, Christian Noll and Gunter Kaltenhäuser are of the same opinion. They made a tour of the hospice to hand over the donation in person. Sterntaler provided detailed information to employee Beate Däuwel about the work of the association.

At this juncture we once again would like to thank all employees and our business partners who provided such generous support with the goods they donated.
